Booking Terms and Conditions - Keep for reference
Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending written confirmation either by email or post within 7 days, accompanied with a deposit of £30 per room or if you have given me a credit/debit card number I will charge your card with the £30 deposit plus 3% when paying with a card.
Cancellation In the event of a cancellation of more than seven days before your stay commences (this also includes one member of a party cancelling) please advise me immediately, I will make every attempt to re-let the room. Should I not be unable to re-let the room/s you will then be charged for 2/3 of the total cost of your stay. If you cancel your stay within seven days of the start date of your stay or cut short your stay whilst here I will make every attempt to re-let the room if this is not possible, you will then be charged for the full amount plus any evening meals which have been ordered and purchases made. If one member of a party cancels and they have booked a double room, the room will then be charged at the single occupancy rate.
Please visit www.guestfirst.co.uk for holiday insurance, which I strongly advise that you take out should you have to cancel.
Arrival and departure Your room will be ready for you to occupy between 3 and 6p.m and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of your departure. Please let me know your estimated time of arrival, so that I can make sure there is some here to greet you.
Guest Numbers: The number of people occupying a room must not exceed the number stated without written approval from myself Mavis Bickle.
Safety: The use of the accommodation and amenities including the farm and garden is entirely at the guests risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the guests. Parents/Guardians must supervise their children at all times. Their safety is your responsibility.
Smoking: This is a no smoking establishment.
Pets: I do accept pets in the house but only in the bedrooms to sleep, not in the downstairs rooms. Except for guide dogs. All dog faeces must be picked up immediately to minimise any Health and Safety risk to other guests.
Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9am or to your requested time if needed.
Dinner is at 6.30pm unless arranged otherwise and is by prior arrangement only.
Methods of payment
- Cash if possible
- Cheques with a valid guarantee card only to the value shown on the card (please make cheques payable to M W Bickle)
- Debit/Credit cards, (unfortunately I have to charge an extra 3% for this service on every transaction) Please do not send credit/debit card details by e-mail
