The Victorian house is an idyllic countryside retreat, located on the north side and doorstep of Dartmoor. Its situated 14 miles from the Cornish border, but with easy and close access to both the A30 and M5. Coastal resorts such as Bude, Newquay, Torbay, and Ilfracombe are also within an hours drive. As are many National Trust properties. Those who want more energetic activities can enjoy the open space and sense of freedom, they can also enjoy pony trekking, golf and sailing which are all close by, not forgetting Hiking on Dartmoor with it's abundant wildlife and scenery.

You will be impressed with Knole when you first approach this imposing Victorian farmhouse up the curving avenue of old Beech trees. It stands in its own grounds on a small summit with breath taking views, natural rugged granite hills which is surrounded by farming land. The extensive, 1.5 acre grounds with their beautiful mature trees, shrubs and flowers are such a pleasure to see to which can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, walk through the grounds or stroll through the countryside looking for the numerous and varied wildlife.
The farmhouse was built with stone quarried on the site and has well proportioned rooms, all spacious, comfortable with en–suite and walk in showers. We offer evening meals but if you prefer to eat out then there are many nearby eateries well known for their excellent food. Plenty of off road parking for your convenience is offered.
